Six Years Later: Day 36

February 5, 2010

Happy Anniversary! Six years ago I threw a little paper airplane to a girl named Kristen Miller who sat in front of me in spanish class. On the note I attempted to write “will you go out with me?” in spanish, but in actuality I wrote “do you volunteer to go outside with me?” Lucky for me the love of my life is pretty clever and knew exactly what I was trying to say. Never the less it took her three days to respond but she finally said yes. She has made me the happiest person for the past six years and has been there for me when no one else was. We have had our ups and downs, but through it all here we are today, the happiest couple you’ll meet.

We went to King Estate Winery for lunch and had the best meal we have ever eaten. It started off with a bottle of Pinot Gris and crab cakes for the appetizer. Amazing. Kristen had lamb and I had sea trout, again delicious. We topped it all off with a dessert wine alongside our chocolate cake and apple tart. This place is absolutely gorgeous and there are rumors floating around that it could be the location for the Pichette Wedding…
