The Kit: Day 4

January 4, 2010

Well my image today is of the kit I plan to use for this project. I wanted to show you what I will be using to produce the images you see. I have here a 40D Canon, with a 70-200L 2.8, a Tamron 28-75 2.8, and a 17-40L Canon 4.0. My two flashes are a Canon 430ex and a Canon 580ex II. I also have a couple of other lenses not shown because I will probably not be using them as much if at all. Along with those lenses I also have a Canon Rebel xt, which I will only be using as a second body on sporting events and when necessary.

As for this image it is not something I am to thrilled with but I wanted to get something up today and to show you, again, my kit. The point of this project is for me to get my camera out a lot more and to improve as a photographer. With that said there will be days where I won’t be able to produce my best image, but at least I will be able to say I tried. My goal with this post is to go back later in the year and fix what I might have done wrong.

Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy!

Good luck – you have some nice kit there – I have the 40D but I got the F4 version of the 70-200 – I couldnt afford the 2.8 and it was waay too heavy.

    Have fun :)
